Block GIF images from being loaded on HTML pages to reduce bandwidth and resource usageThis extension blocks animated images (*.GIF and *.WebP formats by default) to save bandwidth usage and to improve page loading speed. The extension can get enabled or disabled from its toolbar button. Once the extension is enabled, no animated resource is fetched from the internet, instead, a local image is replaced by the original one. Note that the user can still selectively load blocked images by using the right-click context menu option over the images.

As of version 0.1.1, it is possible to add or remove image formats that the extension is blocking on the options page. Also, it is possible to turn off the extension entirely just by clicking on the toolbar button
