Use your keyboard's media keys to play, pause, stop, skip, go back, like and dislike on the YouTube Music™ website. The hotkeys work while you are in other programs too.

This is for the recently launched https://music.youtube.com 

Keys can be rebound by going to chrome://extensions/shortcuts in chrome's address bar.

If it isn't working, try reloading the player using F5, disable any other extensions and close any other music programs etc. and try restarting your PC if it continues.
