This extension highlights important parts of python quesetions on stackoverflow.This is a browser extension that I developed while a data science fellow at Insight. The fellow is designed to draw users' attention to the most helpful portions of python, stackoverflow answers. 

To develop the extension, I trained a recurrent neural network to differentiate between helpful and unhelpful python, stackoverflow answers. The model attained did not obtain perfect accuracy, but managed to discriminate between the two answer types. 

When you click the "sift button" a message is sent to an aws server which uses my model to analyze the text on the website. The text which my model regards as most helpful is highlighted.
