Whenever you want to search for some video on Vimeo, you don’t need to visit it and then search it.  

When you click on the icon, the small frame with featured videos will show up and on the top there is an input, where you can write your search query. The results will show up in the new tab. 

Also this extension is part of the great Wips.com technology that allows users to create their own extension in the browser within few minutes. This functionality is mostly used by the Channel owners, who create the official extension for their users. 

You don’t need to be signed to Vimeo to use this.
